About Me.

I grew up here and have now lived in every part of the district. I graduated from Peninsula High where my mom has been a teacher, and I worked with my dad’s landscaping business digging irrigation trenches before I went on to college.

After becoming a lawyer, I came back and worked for the Northwest Justice Project where I served survivors of crime, like domestic violence and human trafficking, who couldn’t afford a lawyer. I now work at Kitsap Legal Services in housing law continuing to serve those struggling to make ends meet.

My wife Shannon and I lived in Gig Harbor and just recently bought our first home in Bremerton.

Both of my parents taught me the value of hard work. My dad taught me common sense and to respect people’s money. My mom taught me a quality education opens doors for people. I also recognize that creating opportunity for all, means giving back to the community that helped us succeed.

I’m passionate about giving back to our community. I volunteer with the Rotary Club, Harbor History Museum, Bremerton NAACP, Gig Harbor Sister Cities Council, Awesome Praise, Down Home Band on the Key Peninsula, and as a Peninsula High School Cross Country Coach.

I hope to earn your support and that you join the campaign trail!
